Care to open a new report as it seems you are experiencing a different
bug than the original bug reporter. Vincenzo has commented that this
issue was resolved with the updated iwlwifi available in linux-
backports-modules-2.6.24. It is helpful to the development teams if bug
reports target one specific issue otherwise it is difficult to sift
through comments which do and don't apply to a bug. If would be great
in your new bug report if you could include the debugging information
