Public bug reported:
I am running ubuntu 7.1 installed using wubi rev487. The OS was up and running
fine until I
downloaded and installed 238 mb of recommended updates. When rebooted after
install the load indicator barely starts before boot was/is kicked out to
busybox with message:
[38.806362] usb 1-1: devise not accepting address2, error -71
I have not idea what to do at this point and have to reset my computer to get
out of busybox.
-----------
If I "esc" after selecting ubuntu os, I get a menu that allows me to select to
boot in a recovery mode. After a long list of comments flash on screen an
option box opens with one option being to continue with normal boot. ubuntu
then boots. This is the only way I can get ubuntu to boot.
