Could anybody actually shed some light on this for me?
Somehow it all is very confusing.
The patch seems to be meant to make bcm4311 cards work, but at the same time
breaks bcm4312 cards (that is what I was able to get from the bugs. some places
also say different things I guess it is very easy to accidentally type 2
instead of 1).
But for some reason my experience is the exact opposite. I have a bcm4312 (rev
02) chip in my laptop (or at least lspci says so) that stopped working when the
patch was removed and worked while it was there.
