Hi Simon,
Care to update to the latest 2.6.24-16 kernel as well as the latest
linux-ubuntu-modules. Then can you boot with the 'quiet' and 'splash'
options removed. Is anything interesting output to the screen. If so,
care to take a digital photo and attach it to this bug report. I know
there was a patch which was recently applied and then reverted in linux-
ubuntu-modules which was causing boot issues -
