I had some other updates available this morning and I installed them.
After I did this I reread your comments and saw that you wanted the
output from the command 'sudo aptitude upgrade' so I have pasted that
output below. I'm itching to fix the error I got, so sorry, but I'm
going to reinstall the update manager.
