I have the exact same bug on a fresh install of Hardy. I am able to workaround this by using wifi-radar instead. I tried connecting on the CLI and was able to associate with iwconfig, but dhclient timed out without getting a lease. I am not sure if the dhclient issue is related to this; it might be my router.
