Effectively the images are o.k. when the page is viewed without zoom. Perhaps Firefox should set the zoom-level to 100% when restarted?
I also compared the rendering quality (when zoomed) with Firefox 3.0 beta5 on Windows XP and it appears that on Windows the images are blurred but it is less disturbing since on Windows the images are not pixeled. Probably the bug description should changed to: "Images in Firefox are extremely pixeled when zoomed" To reproduce: 1) open Firefox, go to ubuntuforums: http://ubuntuforums.org/ 2) type Str++ twice to zoom 3) look at the "ubuntu forums logo" ** Summary changed: - Images in Firefox are blurred + Images in Firefox are extremely pixeled when zoomed -- Images in Firefox are extremely pixeled when zoomed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/217908 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
