it doesn't say why. It just says installation failed, and i go in to see what distro it tried to download and install and it's the 64 bit version. I really had not realized that the processor was a 64 bit. Confirmed it here. http://www.intel.com/products/processor_number/chart/core2duo.htm since it is a 64 bit processor, and that's what it's trying to install through the downloaded wubi from here http://wubi-installer.org/ I'll try the install agian, and see if i can't get an actuall error message or perhapse find some logs that tell me why it's failing.
Why exactly does the installation "fail"?
