Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: rescue-mode
When using the alternate CD and booting in rescue mode if there is no
partition table entering rescue mode fails. I recreated this by using a
KVM instance using a new image file that had never been configured or
installed onto. Basically a blank hard drive. Instead of a message
saying as such, I just get "entering rescue mode failed."
** Affects: rescue (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
