Arand, have you confirmed that it stops hibernation on critical battery level? My machine is set to shut down on critical battery, and I tested it yesterday (rhythmbox 0.11.5-0ubuntu4, g-p-m 2.22.1-1ubuntu4) and although I could not manually shut down while music was playing, when it got to critical levels it was still able to shut down fine.
As such it isn't High/Critical as you say (at least for that reason).
