Which specific version of the linux-ubuntu-modules package were you
using? It sounds like this might be related to bug 212271. The patch
which originally was causing the hangs was reverted:
https://edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24 .
A newer patch has recently been applied and should be available in the
next linux-ubuntu-modules upload. Please wait to test the newer linux-
ubuntu-modules release which should be available soon and let us know
your results. Thanks.
