We'll use this bug as the master for the input-hotplug feature
implementation.
We evaluated input hotplug during Hardy development but found it was not
sufficiently mature for use. Upstream also feels input-hotplug needs a
lot more work to get it ready for widespread use. We hope to see it
ready for Intrepid but we'll have to see.
