Ubuntu 8.04 Release Candidate kernel 2.6.24-16-generic lacks the DVB-T
chip drivers of kernel 2.6.22-14-generic for Ubuntu 7.10
This is causing LiveCD session, installation or other processes to
fail, even generating HAL initialization failure messages.
It may also be masking NVidia or ATI driver difficulties !
Restoration of DVB-T chip drivers to the Release suite or via the
immediately subsequent Updates process seems advisable !
