Public bug reported: Binary package hint: adept-manager
I'm trying to install the Kubuntu 8.04 release candidate from 7.10 by following the instructions at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HardyUpgrades/Kubuntu Running kdesu "adept_manager --dist-upgrade-proposed" launches the Adept manager, after appearing to download a file, but no "Version Upgrade" button appears. Looking at /etc/apt/sources.list, it's clear that this hasn't changed - presumably it was supposed to have the new source added so I assume this is where the failure is occurring. For reference, output from running the command follows: $ kdesu "adept_manager --dist-upgrade-proposed" kbuildsycoca running...
