@ John Vivirito: I tried most of the example of bug #182038 and I couldn't reproduce a single example. Perhaps I don't have the described bugs because I have a intel-centrino graphic card?
The phenomenon I reported as a bug seems only be related to the way images are zoomed / interpolated.
