When SCIM (ie, in the Language control panel "Enable support to enter
complex characters") is enabled mythtv-frontend does not respond to
keyboard input. The mouse will still work to navigate through the
interface, but the up-down arrow and enter will not do anything to
select things like "Watch TV", Medial Library, etc. ALT-F4 will allow
you to exit out of the frontend, but otherwise the keys don't work.
