Public bug reported:
If I first install Desktop Effects and choose Standard Effects (and then
reboot) some effects are enabled,
If I then choose custom effects and reboot there is no difference. That
is there is no way to make any custom settings or anything at all.
The desktop acts just the same way as it did with standard effects this
can be very confusing for users not used to Linux.
