Public bug reported:

The following is a Tech Review on dualboot.xml [ubuntu-
intrepid/switching/C/dualboot.xml].

Dualboot.xml

dualboot-intro
- Removed XP from [installing Ubuntu and Windows onto the same system.] This
may make Vista users worried that they cannot dualboot with Ubuntu.
- [it is possible to choose which one to start]. I have changed this to [you
may choose which one to use] because the phrase 'it is possible' is repeated.
- [You will be able to select whether to start Ubuntu or Windows each time your
computer starts up.] Removed this sentence. It is already stated in the first
paragraph.

dualboot-concepts
- [to be aware of a small number of related concepts.] Changed to [to be aware
of several related concepts.]
- [This means that, to dual-boot between Ubuntu and Windows] Unnecessary
comma/comma splice.
- [NTFS, to which Linux cannot safely write data] I've recently ended
dual-booting Vista which was NTFS, and could safely read and write. I'm pretty
sure this became possible with Gutsy. I'll delete it for now and let you
decide.
- [Ubuntu treats this filesystem as read-only.] Same as above. Deleted for now.
- I've noticed that if this error is true, then the entire paragraph may need
to be rewritten because it seems to promote FAT32.
- The last paragraph in this section talks about GRUB. I think it should be
mentioned that GRUB must be reinstalled if you reinstall Windows. Perhaps
instructions on that need to be mentioned somewhere, or a link to the wiki page.

dualboot-planning
- [total capacity of the hard disk and also the order and size of all of the
partitions on the disk] Changed to [total capacity of the hard disk and the
order and size of the partitions on the disk].
- [Windows will probably use one or two partitions only] Changed to [Windows
generally uses one or two partitions]
- [how much you would like to be able to use in Ubuntu.] Changed to [how much
you would like in Ubuntu.]

dualboot-procedure
- This section is set up XP, and uses XP start menu functions. I've added
instructions to defragmenting in Vista in case you feel it necessary.
- [Defragmentation may take a very long time, up to several hours.] Changed to
[Defragmentation may take several hours.]
- The instructions from steps 10-13 are all messed up. Ubuntu automatically
installs a swap partition during the installation process. These steps should
be rewritten for clarity.

dualboot-custom
- No major grammatical errors found, although I did not manually test the
instructions.

** Affects: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
