Public bug reported:
In hardy beta. Insert a blank CD or DVD. Nothing automatically opens
anymore, but the CD or DVD icon appears on the desktop. If you right-
click this icon you have four options:
1 Open
2 Browse Folder
3 Open with "CD/DVD Creator"
4 Open with "Brasero Disc Burning"
1,2 and 3 do exactly the same thing, they open burn:/// in nautilus. And
4 duplicates this functionality with a different interface, but also
adds functionality, e.g. to burn an audio CD.
Perhaps the nautilus burning ability should be removed and Brasero just
used. But at the very least, the right-click menu can be reduced to two
options.
The attached screenshot shows the CD/DVD burning interfaces available by
default with nautilus in spatial mode, there are three different
interfaces to do the same thing. We need to make up our mind!
