Public bug reported:
hello i am testing the beta 8.04 hardy desktop amd64 on a dell inspirion laptop,
i have the broadcom chip for my wifi, and i tried to install the fwcutter from
the synaptic package manager
it asked me to insert the cd but then it tried download online (whilst trying
to install the wifi driver) !??
so the installation got interrupted with the following message (on the picture
attached)
and of course still no wifi connection..
