Michael, the debug spew is correct but non-fatal. Those messages are a
side effect of loading alsa-s{ink,ource} before hal-detect. The reason
you get audible audio out of mplayer+rhythmbox+ff3.0b5+Flash is due to
loading alsa-sink first.
