Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.24-16-generic
My analog TV-Tuner-PCI-Card Hauppauge Win TV can't run under the
following linux-image-2.6.24-14-generic, linux-image-2.6.24-15-generic
and the actual linux-image-2.6.24-16-generic.
It produces the following Error:
Interner Fehler - failed to initialize HAL!
Internal Error - failed to initialize HAL!
I can do nothing on the Desktop. I must go with the Keyboard to the
Console and restart my PC with STRG + ALT + DEL (ENTF).
I remove the analog TV-Tuner-PCI-Card Hauppauge Win TV. And than, oh
wonder:
The PC runs normally.
What want you do?
When you want, I send you my File kern.log as an Attachement.
With the linux-image-2.6.24-12-generic runs the analog TV-Tuner-PCI-Card
Hauppauge Win TV. I have used the same card under all Ubuntu Versions
before and I have no Problems.
