Public bug reported:

Today when booting my laptop i hit the max-mount-count, but since I was
running on batter I wanted to cancel it.

This used to be possible by pressing ctrl-c in dapper and every other
ubuntu version that I've tried. But I'm unable to do so in edgy.

** Affects: sysvinit (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
