I can no longer reproduce this bug, and I do not have access to the computer that it happened on (a Vista box), and although I tried to reproduce the environment on another system (a WinXP box), it may have been Vista specific problem or something. I will have access to the system a week from Wednesday, and will attach a backtrace if the problem still exists, however it works properly on Xming installed with default settings on Windows XP SP2 and a fully updated Hardy install.
