I got this too -- in my case, I do not even have a CD-ROM drive. It was caused by a leftover /etc/fstab entry made during installation. You might take a look at your fstab -- see if you have an entry in their for your cd-rom. If you do, deleting it should cause the disk mounter to go back to functioning normally (no reboot required).
