I dont know if this is KDE specifc, Im sure its not compiz though. But
when i close my laptop screen (hp dv6000) i have power manager
configured to lock the screen and ask me for password on resume. It
worked perfect in Gutsy but n hardy when open the lid the screen stays
black, Nothng happens if i move the mouse, hit any key, it doesn't
matter what i do it doesn't seem to wake up. The only way i found was to
hit Ctrl+alt+f1 and the Ctrl+alt+f7 again.
I don't know what is caussing it but even after pressing ctrl+alt+f7 it
takes a while to display the password prompt.
