- I was backing up to my NAS device running Debian etch.
+ I was backing up to my NAS device running Debian etch via ssh.
  
  The program crashed when it realized that the rdiff-backup version
  numbers are not the same.
  
  Ideally, it should fail gracefully, or try to use some sort of
  compatibility mode.
