Public bug reported:
Hardy: When in GUI mode, selecting System>Quit... and then Restart or
Shutdown, etc. does not work anymore. All application windows seem to
be terminated but the requested operation never completes. I am able to
restart/shutdown only by killing X (Ctrl-Alt-Backspace).
Dell XPS M1330 with nVidia Corporation GeForce 8400M GS.
