Well, I still don't know what's the difference in the line withe the 
sed-command but I activated debugging for the wrapper-script. I've attached the 
log.
For me it seems as if the script (which runs as "lp") needs writing access to 
/usr/Brother/inf.

Besides: I found "/usr/./././Brother/" several times. What does this
mean? Is this a workaround?
