Same problem. Dell Inspiron 8200. I updated to the latest Hardy
available today (4-22). If b43legacy is blacklisted I can boot, but
modprob'ing b43legacy freezes the computer. I don't see how
blacklisting the module can be considered "Fix released" though, since I
cannot use my wireless without the b43legacy module? What are all of
the Dell users supposed to do when suddenly Ubuntu freezes hard on their
computer after a Hardy upgrade? What if they want to use WiFi?
