Public bug reported: Binary package hint: bacula-director-mysql
When I try to install bacula-director-mysql, post-install fails because it tries to connect to the Database as root without password. I guess this is not the way intended. Maybe a interface to enter the root-pw of the MySQL would be better than let the post-install fail. Or a hint that there is a SQL file which must be 'executed' before bacula-director is usable. I think letting post-install fail is the worst choice. ** Affects: bacula (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- post-install uses root-access to mysql without pass https://launchpad.net/bugs/65784 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
