I should have added that I'm using 8.04. Interestingly, it looks like the same in Gedit and Mousepad on my computer. But the Nano output is the 'correct' one. I read the file using python and it was displayed exactly like the Nano output. Plus it is imported correctly to the database. The Gedit/Mousepad examples would be invalid SQL data.
