Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: filezilla

I was trying to upgrade my wordpress blog from 2.33 to 2.5.
I downloaded the zip version of the file (I can provide it if you need it),
unzipped it, and tried to upload it to my website with filezilla.
The upload didn't go well, because some files weren't overwritten (even if I
selected to replace them when asked).
Moreover, I get this error with some uploads:
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (89,163,145,207,249,164)
Command: STOR categories.php
Response: 553-Can't open that file: Permission denied
Response: 553 Rename/move failure: No such file or directory
Error: Critical error
Status: Starting upload of
/home/user/Local_Repository/Wordpress/wordpress/wp-admin//link.php
Command: PASV
Response: 553-Can't open that file: Permission denied
Response: 553 Rename/move failure: No such file or directory
Error: Critical error
I have write permission to that directory, and the same upload with gftp
went ok.

I don't know why filezilla added a double slash (wp-admin//link) to some
files. It can be an error of filezilla or maybe of my filesystem
(reiserfs).

filezilla 3.0.7.1, Ubuntu HH. Let me know if you need other
informations.
