Somewhere between Gutsy and Hardy, the mono and monodevelop stuff got mixed around and messed up. Here are the packages that I installed on Hardy to get things going:
monodevelop mono-gac mono-utils mono-gmcs mono-xbuild mono-mcs mono-1.0-devel mono-2.0-devel mono-1.0-service mono-2.0-service mono-debugger mono-tools-gui Ideally, doing "apt-get install monodevelop" should install all of these things. In Gutsy, it was smarter about this in that Monodevelop just needed a couple extras that weren't installed by default. Now the Monodevelop package doesn't install crucial things like mono-mcs. Packagers, please fix this! -- Monodevelop in hardy doesn't install gmcs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/205815 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
