Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox
Folks, I've noticed that some web pages do not display correctly. Examples are http://www.news.com.au and http://www.brother.com.au/. In each case the drop down list at the extreme right of the page gets positioned at the left hand side of the page below the normal left hand drop down list. In the case of news.com.au the 'News Network' drop down list gets placed over the 'Breaking News' drop down list which resides on the second drop down list line thus the 'Breaking News' drop down list becomes unavailable. In the case of brother.com.au the offending drop down list is 'Contact Us' which again should reside at the extreme right of the page but gets placed on the next line at the left hand side of the page. This problem appears to be restricted to Firefox (Windows Xp sp2 and Ubuntu 07.10), as it doesn't occur in Explorer, Opera or Flock Regards, Bob ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Thu Apr 24 12:00:46 2008 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.10 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia ath_hal Package: firefox 2.0.0.14+2nobinonly-0ubuntu0.7.10 PackageArchitecture: i386 SourcePackage: firefox Uname: Linux ubuntu 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Tue Feb 12 07:42:25 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- Some website pages to not display correctly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/221258 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
