Public bug reported:
standard desktop a64 installation via cd.
After a clean install I log on via window manager, and nothing happens (just
the brown screen). I first experienced this problem with one of the very last
updates only a few days before the release version. I reinstalled clean, but
the problem stayed.
dmesg gives me these straight after login:
