Yes, I can confirm I am having the same problem. I have a Nvidia 6150 (motherboard integrated) and cant make the propietary driver work. I havent tried installing it manually. If I try to install it through "Hardware drivers" menú option, it will never work. It says its enabled but its red and says "Not in use". Everything was working fine in 7.10 too.
