With usplash you can preview a theme by linking /usr/lib/usplash-
artwork.so to some usplash theme and then running usplash.
The preview only shows the first possible theme in the linked theme
package. It would be good to be able to show a particular one, or many
of the themes. Also, being able to simulate bootup or shutdown while
previewing a theme would be useful.
