Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.24-16-generic

I have a Gateway T-1616 notebook, with an integrated USB webcam and
integrated USB wireless, running Hardy. It came with 1GiB of memory, of
which 256MiB was taken by the video card. Today I installed more
memory, and the webcam and wireless nic stopped working- however, when i
rebooted with mem=768M, everything worked flawlessly again.

Everything works with all physical memory used in Windows XP.

Since both devices stopped working at the same time, I'm guessing
something higher up the USB chain is broken. Unfortunately, I don't
know how to read what's connected to what off lsusb or lshw.

This is a fairly serious bug, I think many Gateway T-1616 users may wish
to upgrade their memory at some point.

Output of lshw attached

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
