Binary package hint: xorg
When i installed Hardy I told the installer that I have a UK keyboard and all
was well.
I subsequently removed my xorg.conf to test the autodetection features of X
(which are generally excellent, it seems). One obvious missing detection was
the keymap - it defaults to a US layout.
