Binary package hint: update-manager
While updating from 7.10 to 8.04, towards the end (99% complete), I received an
error message that the update manager could not be installed, and then the
update froze. I cannot give any more information, because the windows failed to
display anything. A little later, I received this error message:
could not install the upgrades
The upgrade aborts now. Your system could be in an unusable state. A recovery
will run now.
