Thanks for your report, I've just tested this and it works fine, opened
a jpg file edit it with gimp (in a bad way, lot of black color to see
the difference) after save the image with gimp, nautilus shows a white
thumbnail with a clock on it, which is the one shown for saying that's
working and after that it shows me the image with the ugly black color
i've put on it, works fine. Can you reproduce the same with another new
user on your system? It seems that there's something broken on your
configuration rather, thanks.
