Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: python2.4
I saw an error related to python2.4-minimal at the end of the upgrade
procedure (during the "Clean Up" phase). I didn't get a chance to
copy/paste that message since the modal error dialogs blocked me until
the windows closed all of themselves. I think this error caused the
upgrade process to prematurely exit.
Then after rebooting and letting the Update Manager update packages, I
see an error message box about python2.4-minimal...followed by error
messages about a number of other packages (memcheck, pycentral,
npviewer.bin, PDF Editor). These errors came up repeatedly many times
(for the same packages).
I've attached my /var/log/dist-upgrade/.
