Sorry to bother you all again :-)
I noticed a new behavior: When you let Firefox run with the disk
activity and the 100% CPU for approx. half an hour. All problems are
gone. Disk activity stops and CPU goes back to a normal level. When
restarting Firefox, it seems the problems are not coming back, but after
10 min or so, the activity starts again from the beginning. :-(
