Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: update-manager
I used the package manager to upgrade my system from 7.10 to 8.04. The default
language of my system was set to Hungarian.
It was (is) running on a IBM/Lenovo T43 laptop.
I experienced the following:
1. the downloads of the software packages were sometimes very slow (the
remaining time estimation varied between 35 hours to 20 minutes)
2. I got the error message that the "updated packages cannot be installed"
3. The error message what I got finally : "A frissítés most félbeszakad.
Előfordulhat, hogy a rendszer használhatatlan állapotban van. Egy helyreállítás
kerül futtatásra (dpkg --configure -a)."
