Public bug reported:

I just upgraded to 8.04. I am using a Dell Inspiron B130. Suspend has
always worked, but turning the backlight back on after it has been
turned off when the laptop lid closed has been buggy in other versions
(Dapper, maybe?)

When I close the laptop lid with the battery settings thingy set to
suspend, it seems to suspend ok (light goes into blinky sleep mode), and
opening it back up seems to wake it up from suspend ok (light goes back
to solid mode, hard drive noises) but there is no display. This is not
the same as this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/acpi-
support/+bug/180473 which still has a cursor. There is no cursor, no
blinking screen, the screen is completely dark.
