Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: bluez-gnome

Opening the browse device dialog on the bluetooth applet and clicking "Cancel"
kills bluetooth connections.
Bluetooth applet doesn't crash and shows bluetooth devices still bonded. But
they aren't. One can not connect to them again either. I must re-plug the
adapter again to the usb port.

- Ubuntu hardy
- Microsoft usb bluetooth adabter (ships with Microsoft wireless bluetooth
mouses and keyboards)
bluez-gnome:
  Installed: 0.25-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 0.25-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 0.25-0ubuntu1 0

Sorry not sure if the applet belongs to the bluez-gnome metapackage.

** Affects: bluez-gnome (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
