Public bug reported:

When I initialize th system I get an error message recommending to
report a bug. I really do not know how to do this. I am very new at
ubuntu. I was using the previous LTS version for a month without any
problem and the problem started when i upgraded to the new one.

I am using a NEC laptop LaVieM LM500/5 and the info I was told to report
is as follows

$ xprop -root | grep XKB
_XKB_RULES_NAMES_BACKUP(STRING) = "xorg", "pc105", "jp", "jp106", ""
_XKB_RULES_NAMES(STRING) = "xorg", "pc105", "jp", "jp106", ""

$ gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd
 layouts = []
 model = jp106
 options = [japan       japan:kana_lock]
 overrideSettings = true

~$ sudo dmidecode -s system-product-name
PC-LM5005D

I am really sorry if this info is not enough. I wil try to improve it
after doing some further research in the forums. Thanks
