Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor
gnome-system-monitor crashed when I was trying to change the priority to
a higher one ( -x ), but when I change the priority to a lower one ( +x
), it works.
Description: Ubuntu 8.04
Release: 8.04
gnome-system-monitor
2.22.0-1ubuntu3
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ gnome-system-monitor
** (gnome-system-monitor:17556): WARNING **: SELinux was found but is
not enabled.
The program 'gnome-system-monitor' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'.
(Details: serial 161096 error_code 3 request_code 18 minor_code 0)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
When I execute gnome-system-monitor with --sync, the same error apears.
If change the priority with renice it works.
