Same error for me. Fresh install of Ubuntu 8.04, retained old $HOME partition from Ubuntu 7.10.
sudo find / -name libgtkembedmoz.so -print /usr/lib/xulrunner/libgtkembedmoz.so $MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME is not set to anything.
